Route & Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by the Bush 2 City Adventure representative driver guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. You have the afternoon to relax and prepare for the upcoming safari. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Gran Melia in Arusha, a true oasis.

Main Destination: Arusha (City)

Accommodation: Maua Villa

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be collected by the driver guide and depart south towards Tarangire National Park. A full-day game drive is planned, with a picnic lunch in the afternoon. After lunch, the game drive will continue until sunset. The African sunset is a spectacular sight! Finally, we will transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Best Time To Visit: June to September (easier to spot animals)

High Season: July to March (Northern section gets crowded)

Best Weather: June to October (few showers of rain)

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, we depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Again, we have planned a full day of game drives with lunch at a picnic site in the park. After lunch, the game drive will continue until sunset so that you can see the magical African sunset once again! The day concludes when we return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, we drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Ndutu Area to see the annual wildebeest migration. We will enjoy a picnic lunch and continue with the game drive after lunch. The day concludes with our dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Serengeti National Park is home to the Big Five and the area is famous for the annual wildebeest migration.

Best Time To Visit: June to February (Areas are best at different times)

High Season: July to March (The Seronera area is crowded)

Best Weather: June to October (Little to no rainfall)

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at the lodge, we depart from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater. We descend 600m to reach the crater floor. We start with a game drive, have lunch, and continue with an afternoon game drive. The day concludes when we return to the lodge for our dinner and overnight stay.

High Season: Most of the year – July to March (Expect crowds)

Best Weather: June to October (Rainfall is little to none)

Day 7: Karatu to Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast at the lodge, we depart from Karatu and drive to Arusha, where we will have a hot lunch before we drop you off at the airport. This marks the end of our epic adventure.
